The trip-brief tool · September 13, 2026
Share what helps plan the trip.
The new trip brief at /start runs in your browser. Its answers are not uploaded to Roam, sent to an AI provider, or saved in browser storage by this tool.
You choose when to share
Answers stay in page memory until you clear, refresh, or close the page. Copying creates a copy on your clipboard. Downloading saves a text file on your device. Opening email prepares a generic message; you add the reviewed brief and send it yourself. Your device and email provider handle those copies.
What Roam receives
If you send the brief, your Roam advisor receives the message and the information you include. Send only what is needed to discuss the trip. Do not include passport numbers, card details, children's full names or exact birthdays, or medical records. Your advisor will arrange a suitable channel if booking requires further details.
Roam's rule is that family information is used to plan and carry out that family's travel. Private family records are not sold, used for advertising, or pooled to train models for other families. Contact Roam before sharing information you do not want retained in email.
Booking and future memory
Before a booking, your advisor will confirm what information needs to go to Fora and the relevant suppliers. Those services maintain their own records and policies. Ask for corrections, deletion of Roam's planning copies, or permission to retain preferences for a future trip by emailing dc@goroam.travel. Transaction records may need to be retained for legal or accounting purposes; Roam will explain any limitation.
Private family accounts, shared learning and AI execution agents are a future product described in the thesis. The proposed shared learning would use separately volunteered experience feedback, combined across groups of similar families. It would exclude names, exact ages, dates and budgets, and would not share individual family profiles. Contributing would be optional, with consent requested separately from trip planning. This feedback system is not live. The new brief does not create an account or enroll you in the existing member dashboard.
Site delivery
The website host receives ordinary request information needed to serve the page, such as IP address and browser information. The new brief does not send your answers in page URLs, analytics events, or background requests.
